#TgWild 10.02.12 - "La regina Elisabetta II?

#TgWild 10.02.12 - "Queen Elizabeth II? Monotonous squared!"

This Sunday we present our weekly issue of the TG Wild, the satyrical review of some of the week's most interesting news.

The first one is about the discussion on the elections law which will have to substitute the "Porcellum": after long discussions with the PDL, the PD is rooting for bipolarism and no preferences, specifying that this choice is due to a greater interest for uninominal colleges, not to the will of stripping people of the possibility to choose.

Romano La Russa, brother of the former Defence Ministe Ignazio La Russa, has been in the middle of a media scandal after he declared that it would be a good idea to make immigrants shovel snow as a sign of gratitude towards Italy.

Elizabeth II's reign is now 60 years old: she was crowned when only 25, and she has received numerous demonstrations of affection and respect from several countries all around the world.

A 12 year old from Crotone, fallen into a coma while she was watching the Juventus soccer match with her father, has woken up after 15 days after listening to a video message recorded by her idol, Alessandro Del Piero: the player has readily responded to her parents' call, and she is now slowly recovering.

Emanuela Violani's book has been recently published: "Secret diary of my fierce days", in which the girl, who wanted to become a nun, tells her story of 5 years of abuse perpetrated by a priest: unfortunately the Police says it's too late to intervene, and the Church hasn't done anything about it.

The Prime Minister Mario Monti, in an interview with Time, has declared that he wants to change the way Italians live: in his opinion it is important to introduce and stress the value of merit and competition.

A few days ago Il Fatto Quotidiano has published an exclusive piece of news regarding a plot to kill the Pope within one year, but the Vatican has readily dismissed the news calling it "nonsense".

Roberto Saviano has spoken about a curious fact that media haven't even covered: during the days before New Year, the daughter of mafia boss Gaetano McKay Marino appeared in Rai singing a song for her father. The big question mark Saviano is puzzled about is the fact that the boss was sitting in front row, and the presenter even invited the girl to go and give a kiss to her dad.

The newspaper Libero has announced that Nicole Minetti will be on trip to Lourdes: the regional counselor has participated, during the last year, to a series of pilgrimages to places sacred to Mary.

Finally a little meditation for the mayor of Mazara del Vallo, Nicola Cristaldi, who has declared that his 3 paychecks still aren't enough.

I invite everyone to see the TG!
