Riflessioni ad alto tasso di THC: avevo 12 anni quando il preside della mia scuola mi chiamò da parte per farmi il classico cazziatone da prete: “Ti ho sentito dire che odii Marco Masini. Sai, l’odio non è un sentimento cristiano, sarebbe meglio dire che non ti piace!”. Grazie per la dritta, preside! Adesso ho un buon motivo per coltivare l’odio in modo metodico.
Oggi a Masini non ci penso più: ha già pagato abbastanza per le sue canzoni. In compenso, l’odio continuo a coltivarlo. Ne farei volentieri a meno, ma è più forte di me. E dire che la gente a me piace tanto, il problema, piuttosto, è che non la capisco.
Non capisco, ad esempio, la gente che in metropolitana cerca di uscire dalle scale d’entrata. Sono soli, con una miriade di persone che si muove nella direzione opposta, mentre decine di cartelli li avvisano che il passaggio è vietato. Cos’è che gli sfugge, di preciso? E nessuno li avverte!
- “Ehi, amico, stai cercando di uscire dall’entrata, la folla ti sta travolgendo”
- “Balle! Ancora qualche gomitata e sono fuori!”
Non capisco la gente che corre in banchina per prendere il treno che è appena arrivato, abbattendo ogni ostacolo gli si pari davanti, dal passeggino col neonato al vecchietto col bastone, per poi schiacciarsi in un vagone stracolmo, quando il treno successivo è a soltanto un minuto d’attesa. Sarà un caso, ma questa gente ha sempre con sé enormi zaini, valigette piene di spigoli e accessori che si incastrano chirurgicamente fra le costole altrui.
Non capisco quelli che devono scendere al capolinea, ma si piazzano davanti alla porta fin dalla prima fermata, anche se il vagone è vuoto. Mi lasciano perplesso le vecchiette che vogliono il tuo posto e che ti riempiono di improperi se non glielo lasci, anche se ce ne sono altri dieci liberi. Fatico ad accettare quelli che non si sorreggono, e alla prima frenata ti finiscono addosso, per poi tornare alla loro carriera di equilibristi, nella speranza che l’inerzia li grazi, la prossima volta, o almeno li faccia finire su una bella tettona.
Non capisco quelli a cui, quando arriva la tua fermata, chiedi: “Scende alla prossima?” e questi iniziano a fissarti con uno sguardo da: “E a te cosa importa?”, come se avessi chissà quali intenzioni. Non capisco quelli che non hanno mai pagato il biglietto e si lamentano degli altri che rubano.
Non capisco quelli che pretendono di scendere dal treno prima che gli altri cerchino di salire, quando sistematicamente salgono sul treno prima che gli altri siano scesi, e non capisco nemmeno la gente che deve assolutamente leggere qualcosa, anche se lo spazio vitale non consentirebbe di farlo, specie se fra le mani hanno l’ultimo best-seller commerciale del cazzo.
- “Devi leggerlo adesso?”
- “E’ una storia avvincente, voglio sapere come va a finire”
- “Alla fine lei crepa, ora lo chiudi?”
A volte mi chiedo perché questa gente finisca per odiarla. A volte mi chiedo perché me lo chieda.

I hate, you hate
I was twelve when the headmaster at my school called me to scold me priest style: "I heard you say you hate Marco Masini. You know, hate is not a christian feeling, it would be better to say you don't like him!" Thanks for the tip, headmaster! Now I have good reason to cultivate hate in a methodical way.
Because hate isn't simple nuisance, it's not antipathy. "Who hates" - they tell me - "feels that it is right, beyond laws and moral imperatives, to destroy what he hates". I would have killed Masini, but it's not easy when you're 12 and you only have one dollar a day.
Today I don't think about Masini anymore: he's already paid enough for his songs. In return, I continue to cultivate hate. I would do without, but it's stronger than me. And to think that I do like people, the problem is rather that I don't understand them!
I don't understand, for example, people who in the metro tries to go out the entrance stairs. They're alone, with hundreds of people walking in the opposite direction, while dozens of signs indicate that the passage is forbidden. What exactly is it that they do not grasp? And nobody tells them anything!
"Hey, buddy, you're trying to go out the entrance, the crowd is against you"
"No way! Just a few more nudges and I'm out!"
I don't understand people who run to catch the train that has just arrived, striking every obstacle on their way, from the stroller with an infant to the old man with the stick, and then get into an already full train, when the next one is just one minute behind. It's certainly a coincidence, but these people always have huge backpacks, or briefcases full of sharp edges and accessories that surgically penetrate other people's ribs.
I don't understand those who get off at the end of the line, but stand in front of the door from the first stop, even though the train is empty. I'm baffked by old women who want your seat and insult you if you don't give it to them, even though there are other 10 of them free. I have difficulties accepting those who don't hold on to the supports, and at the first break they fall on you, and then return to their carreer of acrobats, hoping that momentum will spare them next time, or at least make them land on a pair of nice tits.
I don't understand those who, when you ask "Are you getting off at the next one?", stare at you with a look as if they said "And what do you care?" as if you had who knows what intentions. I don't understand those who never paid the ticket and complain of the others who steal.
I don't understand those who want to get off the train before others try to get on it, when systematically they get on the train before the others got out, and I don't understand the people who necessarily need to read something, even though the vital space wouldn't allow them to, especially if they have the last nasty commercial best seller in their hands.
"Do you really need to read that now?"
"It's a lovely story, I want to know how it ends"
"She dies, will you put it away now?"
Sometimes I wonder why I end up hating people. Sometimes I wonder why I even wonder.
