#OccupyPD: adesso è colpa dei giovani se il @pdnetwork è affondato

Ieri in una intervista a SkyTg24 Rosy Bindi tra le altre cose ha detto che la colpa, o parte di essa, nelle vicende drammatiche e grottesche (e questo lo dico io) del PD nell'affaire Quirinale è dei giovani eletti nel PD con le primarie volute da Bersani. 

Li si accusa di inesperienza e della non consapevolezza del loro ruolo istituzionale. Dice anche che molti, vittime della loro inesperienza sono stati teleguidati da una parte cinica della vecchia guardia. Insomma, una parte di loro sarebbe nelle fila dei franchi tiratori. La Bindi quelle primarie parlamentari non le voleva, è chiaro, e lo ribadisce così come sottolinea la responsabilità di Bersani nell'aver voluto perseguire su quella linea. Serve gente competente, preparata e formata dentro le fila del partito, ha detto. Insomma fate gavetta, e poi della vostra presenza su uno scrano ne riparliamo. L'altra parte di colpa è dei moti rancorosi e delle faide interne al PD.

Quello che mi son chiesto ieri allora è stato: e prima delle parlamentarie? Chi c'era sui banchi?
Perché lo stato degenerativo del PD va avanti da anni. E chi si era illuso che con le primarie il peggio fosse passato, anzi cancellato, si era illuso. E i primi ad illudersi erano stati proprio loro. Quelli del PD.

Ora, possiamo accettare l'inesperienza dei giovani neoeletti. Così come possiamo accettare che Marini e Prodi (di fatto il padre del PD) non meritassero la pubblica umiliazione a camere riunite in diretta nazionale. Ma gettare sulle spalle dei giovani PD un 50% di colpe della disfatta della strategia e (di rimbalzo del partito) mi pare un tantinello eccessivo. Ripeto, e prima?

Ecco, nelle sua parole la ormai ex presidente del PD dovrebbe trovare forse trovare altri alibi parlando di un partito che non è riuscito, negli anni, ad amalgamare in maniera compatta le sue diverse componenti attorno ad una linea condivisa da esprimere con convinzione nel momento della verità, e che si porta dentro, nelle vene, i veleni di scontri precedenti anche alla sua formazione.

Di quel che sarà adesso del PD non lo so. E' già iniziata la campagna elettorale interna, in attesa del congresso. Staremo a vedere. Quello che so è che c'è bisogno di un partito che smetta di trovare alibi e dare colpe e cominci a macinare seriamente sulla strada di cui tanto parla ma che non è ancora riuscito ad imboccare.

And now it's the young people's fault if the PD has sunk

Yesterday in an interview at SkyTG24 Rosy Bindi, among other things, said that the fault, or part of it, in the drammatic and grotesque matters of the PD in the Quirinale affair is of the young people elected in the PD with the primaries wanted by Bersani.

They are accused of being unexperienced and unaware of their institutional role. She also said that many, victims of their inexperience have been guided by a cynical part of the old guard. So part of them would be among the traitors. Bindi did not want those parlamentaries, it is clear, and she remarks it as she stresses Bersani's responsabilities in wanting to go along with that line. There's a need for competent, prepared people who have been inside the party, she said. So work hard, and then we'll talk about your presence on a seat. The other part of guilt is of the resentful currents and the internal fights of the PD.

So what I asked myself was: and before the parlamentaries? Who was sitting at the desks? Because the degenerative state the PD is in has been going on for years. And those who had illuded themselves that with the primaries the worst was done, or erased, was only illuded. And the first to illude themselves were they, they people of the PD.

Now, we can accept the inexperience of the young neoelected. As we can accept that Marini and Prodi (the father of the PD) didn't deserve the public humiliation with reunited chambers in national live television. But giving the young people of the PD 50% of the guilt for the failure of the strategy seems a bit too much. I repeat, and before?

So in his words the ex president of the PD should find other alibies talking of a party that didn't manage, in years, to mix up in a compact manner the different components around a shared line to express with conviction at the moment of truth, and that carries along, in its veins, the poisons of fights that are even precedent to its formation.

What will be of the PD, I do not know. The internal elections campaign has already started, waiting for the congress. We'll see. What I do know is that we need a party that will stop looking for alibies and give guilts and starts on the path they talk about so much.

L'ora del @pdnetwork: dai diamanti non nasce niente, dal letame nascono i fior

Per chi avesse ancora dubbi, è bene chiarire una questione: il PD è imploso.

Tutto il fuoco creatosi durante le primarie, quella voglia di partecipazione e messa in discussione democratica del programma e dell’organizzazione del partito, sono svanite nel nulla. L’entusiasmo generale ha lasciato spazio a una campagna spenta, all’amarezza degli elettori per l’insuccesso delle elezioni nazionali, alla delusione per le scelte poco convincenti degli ultimi due mesi, alla perplessità e alla rabbia dovute alla candidatura di Franco Marini in vista di un governo di larghe intese col PDL, al rammarico di non aver reso onore a un grande politico quale è Romano Prodi e alle dimissioni di un segretario che non è riuscito a tenere assieme il proprio gruppo in un momento così delicato.

Questa è la storia degli ultimi mesi. In poche settimane, son svaniti i ricordi positivi che raccoglievano la voglia di riscatto delle nuove generazioni e il desiderio di conferire al Paese quella dignità racchiusa nel sentimento di rivalsa di milioni di abitanti.
Le soluzioni erano lì, sempre a portata di mano. Eppure esse sono state accantonate lasciando spazio a immensi errori che rischiano fortemente di far sprofondare il centro-sinistra nel baratro.

Molti la chiamano la notte dei lunghi coltelli. Eppure, a farci le spese, è soltanto Pierluigi Bersani. I 101 traditori (così chiamati dall’ormai ex segretario) siederanno ancora in quelle aule, a rappresentare soltanto la propria vana gloria.

Le parole di Giuseppe Civati e Matteo Orfini pesano come pietre. L’accusa alla vecchia dirigenza non rimane tra le righe ma viene palesemente lanciata sui tg nazionali a tarda sera e risulta evidentemente carica di rabbia e della consapevolezza di non aver potuto evitare che interessi personali scavalcassero quelli del Partito Democratico e dell’Italia intera.

Che ne sarà ora?
L’elezione del Presidente della Repubblica potrebbe essere ancora lontana, ma le “nuove leve” del PD (e qua non conta l’anagrafe, sia ben chiaro) hanno già da oggi una responsabilità immensa: continuare quel progetto riformista e innovativo figlio delle primarie e di un nuovo modo di fare politica.

Il PD è imploso, è vero. Ma non è detto che tutto ciò non si possa trasformare in un’opportunità per lasciarsi indietro la Seconda Repubblica e lo sdegno nei confronti della sporca politica che essa a creato.
D’altronde… dai diamanti non nasce niente, dal letame nascono i fior.

The hour of PD: from diamonds nothing is born, from shit the flowers are born

For those who still had doubts about it, let me make it clear: the PD has imploded.

All the fire created during the primary elections, the willingness to participate and discuss democratically the program and the party organization, have disappeared in thin air. The general enthusiasm has left space to a dull campaign, the bitterness of voters for the insuccess of national elections, the disappointment for the unconvincing choices of the last two months, the perplexity and the rage due to the candidacy of Franco Marini in view of a government together with the PDL, not giving honor to a great politician such as Romano Prodi and the resignment of a secretary who couldn't keep his group together in such a delicate moment.

This is the story of the last few months. In a few weeks, the positive memories that collected the desire for change of the new generations have disappeared along with the desire to give the country that dignity  in the sentiment of redemnption of millions of citizens.

The solutions were there, always available. And yet they have been put aside leaving space to huge errors that risk to make the center left disappear.

Many call it the night of long knives. And yet, the one who's paying for it is only Pierluigi Bersani. The 101 traitors (so the ex secretary calls them) will sit in those chambers representing their own glory.

The words of Giuseppe Civati and Matteo Orfini are heavy as stones. The accusation to the old leadership doesn't remain hidden but is clearly launched on the national TGs during the evening and is full of rage and the awareness of being unable to avoid personal interest get the best of the PD and the whole of Italy.

What will happen now?

The election of the President of the Republic might still be far away, but the new elements of the PD (not anagraphically, of course) already today have a huge responsibility: continuing that reformist and innovative project, son of the primaries and a new way of doing politics.

The PD has imploded, it's true. But this doesn't mean that everything can't be transformed in an opportunity to leave the Second Republic behind and the rage towards the dirty politics it created.

From diamonds nothing is born. From manure, flowers are born.
