Massimo Bernardini, conduttore di TV Talk, ci concederà un'intervista durante la quale parleremo dell'evoluzione della TV, dei format televisivi e delle possibilità di integrazione tra nuovi e vecchi media. Le domande le farete voi.

Massimo è nato a Milano nel 1955,  ed è conosciuto soprattutto per essere l'autore e il presentatore del programma televisivo di Rai 3 TV Talk.

Prima di diventare giornalista professionista, negli anni ottanta si è occupato di musica, prima come arrangiatore, poi come pubblicista e critico musicale su periodici e quotidiani come Radiocorriere TV, Famiglia Cristiana, Avvenire (di cui è stato poi anche il caporedazione spettacoli) e Il Sabato.

Nel 1987 ha scritto una biografia di Francesco Guccini edito da Muzzio e nel 2002 l’introduzione critico-biografica al volume: Giorgio Gaber: La libertà non è star sopra un albero edito da Einaudi.

Dopo aver lavorato nel settore radio come autore e conduttore, ha collaborato anche alla nascita dell'emittente satellitare cattolica Sat 2000. Per questa stazione televisiva ha ideato e condotto nella stagione 2001-2002 la prima stagione de Il Grande Talk, una serie di trenta puntate dedicate al genere televisivo del talk show. Dalla seconda edizione, e fino al 2005, la trasmissione è stata condotta in collaborazione fra Sat 2000 e Rai Educational.

Dal 2004 al 2006 è autore di 8 puntate sul Festival Teatro Canzone Giorgio Gaber di Viareggio trasmesse da Retequattro, mentre a partire dal 2005 Bernardini è co-autore e conduttore di TV Talk, programma di Rai Educational in onda il sabato su Rai 3, che commenta gli avvenimenti televisivi della settimana sulle varie emittenti pubbliche principali.

In just a few days we'll have the great pleasure of interviewing Massimo Bernardini, Italian journalist and TV conductor.

Massimo was born in Milan in 1955, and is known especially as the author and conductor of the tv program on Rai 3, TV Talk.

Before becoming a professional journalist, in the 80s he worked in the music industry, first as an arranger, later as a publicist and music critic on newspapers and magazines such as Radiocorriere TV, Famiglia Cristiana, Avvenire (of which he has been the head editor for the Shows section) and Il Sabato.

In 1987 he wrote a biography of Francesco Guccini, published by Muzzio and in 2002 the critical-biographical introduction to the book "Giorgio Gaber: Freedom doesn't mean being able to stay on a tree", published by Einaudi.

After working in the radio industry as an author and conductor, he collaborated to the birth of the Catholic satellite statio Sat 2000. For this station he created and conducted, during the 2001-2002 season, the first season of The Great Talk, a series of thirty episode dedicated to the tv genre of talk show. From the second edition, and until 2005, the show was conducted in collaboration with Sat 2000 and Rai Educational.

From 2004 to 2006 he was the author of 8 episodes on the Festival Theater Song Giorgio Gaber in Viareggio, transmitted by Retequattro, and starting 2005 Bernardini is te co-author and conducter of TV Talk, a Rai Educational program airing Saturdays on Rai 3, which comments the television news of the week on the various main public channels.

We'll have the chance to talk about tv genre, the evolution of Italian tv, the integration between different media, just to name a few topics, but many more will certainly emerge during the interview itself.

Prossimamente: Carlo Massarini

Domani avremo il piacere di intervistare Carlo Massarini, noto giornalista e conduttore televisivo italiano. Autore e conduttore di trasmissioni come Mister Fantasy e MediaMente, è stato il giornalista musicale che ha portato all'attenzione del pubblico italiano artisti come Tom Waits, Bob Marley, Joni Mitchell e Jackson Browne.

Nasce a La Spezia nel 1952, ma di lì a breve la sua famiglia si trasferisce per qualche anno in Canada per seguire il padre diplomatico. Tornato a Roma, si iscrive alla facoltà di medicina ma abbandona presto gli studi universitari per dedicarsi alla musica ed alla radio.

Nei primi anni settanta conduce per Radio Rai, insieme ad altri conduttori, la trasmissione di musica rock e pop Per voi giovani. Successivamente conduce le trasmissioni radiofoniche serali Popoff e Radio2 21.29 nelle quali propone alcuni artisti fino a quel momento poco conosciuti come Tom Waits, Bob Marley, Joni Mitchell e soprattutto Jackson Browne, che Massarini ha il merito di aver introdotto in Italia traducendone alcuni testi in italiano. Anni dopo sarà proprio Massarini ad accompagnarlo nei primi concerti italiani e a intervistarlo in alcuni suggestivi scorci romani. In questi anni scrive inoltre per Popster e Rolling Stone.

Dal 1981 al 1984 è stato conduttore ed autore di Mister Fantasy, trasmissione di Rai Uno di oltre 150 puntate dedicata alla videoarte e al videoclip. Nel 1986 ha condotto, sempre sullo stesso canale, il programma Non necessariamente, pionieristico progetto di "varietà tecnologico televisivo" che utilizzava tecniche miste cinematografiche, video e di grafica computerizzata.

Coconduce il Festival di Sanremo sia nel 1987 (con Pippo Baudo) che nel 1988 (con Miguel Bosè e Gabriella Carlucci). In entrambe le edizioni cura le presentazioni dei collegamenti dal nuovo Palarock da dove si esibiscono le varie star internazionali invitate come ospiti al Festival.

Dal 1995 al 2002 conduce la trasmissione MediaMente, produzione televisiva di Rai Educational di approfondimento su Internet e le nuove tecnologie.

Nel 2009, a 25 anni di distanza dall'ultima puntata di Mister Fantasy pubblica Dear Mister Fantasy, un fotolibro sugli anni '70-'80 che ha vissuto come fotografo e giornalista musicale. Nel libro sono raffigurati i suoi numerosi incontri con artisti italiani e stranieri. Per il titolo del libro si ispira all'omonimo brano dei Traffic, suo gruppo rock preferito dell'epoca.

Nel 2010 realizza sei puntate speciali di Mister Fantasy intitolate Mister Fantasy R&R, Reload & Rewind. Ricarica & Rivedi ambientate al MAXXI di Roma e trasmesse da Rai Sat Extra.

Dal 10 gennaio 2011 conduce la trasmissione Cool Tour che va in onda quotidianamente su Rai 5 e che si occupa soprattutto di web, cinema, arte, moda, danza, musica e teatro. Il programma ha come sede centrale la Fabbrica del Vapore di Milano ed è incentrato soprattutto sulle nuove tendenze della città meneghina.

Tomorrow we'll have the pleasure of interviewing Carlo Massarini, renown Italian journalist and TV conductor.

Born in La Spezia in 1952, he moved with his family to Canada, following his father who was a diplomatic. Back in Rome, he studies medicine but he abandons his studies to dedicate himself to music and radio.

In the 70s he conducts the rock and pop music show "Per voi giovani" for Radio Rai, together with other conductors. He then conducted the evening shows Popoff and Radio 2 21.29 in which he proposed unknown artists such as Tom Waits, Bob Marley, Joni Mitchell and especially Jackson Browne, that Massaroni has the merit of introducing to Italy by translating some texts in Italian. A few years later Massarini himself will accompany him in the first Italian concerts and interview him with some amazing Rome backgrounds. During these years he writes for Popster and Rolling Stone.

From 1981 to 1984 he has been the conductor and author of Mister Fantasy, Rai Uno show that lasted more than 150 airings, dedicated to videoart and videoclip. In 1986 he conducted, on the same channel, the program Non necessariamente, a pioneering project of "television technological variety", that used mixted cinema, video and computer graphics techniques.

He co-conducted the Sanremo Festival both in 1987 (with Pippo Baudo) and in 1988 (with Miguel Bosè and Gabriella Carlucci). In both editions he curated the presentations of the direct streaming from the new Palarock, from which the several international stars that are invited as guests to the Festival perform.

From 1995 to 2002 he conducts the show MediaMente, a Rai Educational production about Internet and new technologies.

In 2009, 25 years after the last episode of Mister Fantasy he published Dear Mister Fantasy, a photobook about the 70s and 80s that he lived as a photographer and musical journalist. In the book there are numerous encounters with Italian and foreign artists. For the title of the book he got inspiration from the song with the same name by Traffic, his favourite rock band at that time.

In 2010 he does six special episodes of Mister Fantasy called Mister Fantasy R&R, Reload & Rewind, set at the MAXXI in Rome and aired by Rai Sat Extra.

From January the 10th 2011 he conducts the show Cool Tour, on air daily on Rai 5 and that has to do with web, cinema, arts, fashion, dance, music and theatre. The program has its central base at the Fabbrica del Vapore in Milan and is focused mainly on the new tendencies of the city.
