Evil? Or natural competition? It's a little too early in the morning (5:30am EST) for me to reflect on such questions in an adequate manner - but I do look forward to further prompts for such a conversation.

Is attention like money?

It is a common saying that people "pay" attention. But if people pay attention, it can also be said that they pay attention to what interests them and - yes - for all the right and wrong reasons. Beyond interest (prejudice and affection), human attention has limitations - time, position and priority among them.

Is it unfair (unjust?) that people pay more attention to one thing than another? Ignore things? Or that somethings are never (or rarely) positioned as an object for their possible attention?

If it is unjust, the individual is a willing and enthusiastic accomplice to this (dare I say?) crime against humanity?

Are we each (as individuals) complicit in contributing to the increasing wealth of the rich by our own consumer preferences and decisions for cheaper, faster, more convenient, and/or better?

Why is Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) preferable to Stan Faryna? [grin] Stan Faryna wants to have a conversation with you about some of the things that you care about. And Daryl Dixon is a fictional character whose script will never provide the same.Stan Farynahttp://stanfaryna.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.com
